Jeanette Huffling Edwards, 86, died December 15 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Greenville, S.C. and lived most of her life in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughter Carolyn Smith-Kerr and husband Richard Kerr of High Point, grand daughters Christine Hall and husband Mike Johnson of Columbus, Ohio and Anne Hall of Asheville, N.C., and loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn W. Edwards; her son, Robert (Bob) Edwards; her parents, Clingmon Harrison Huffling and Annie Iola Vaughan Huffling; four sisters, Nell Huffling Ballard, Ann Huffling Mead, Ruth Huffling, Evelyn Huffling and three brothers, LeRoy, Clyde and Jim Huffling.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00, Wednesday, December 17 at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road in Greensboro conducted by Reverend Paul McClure. Interment will be at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.
