Mrs. Frances Courtwright Kerns, 81, of 67 Waynesburg Avenue, Cameron, W. Va., died at 8:02 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 1967 in the Ohio General Hospital, Wheeling, W. Va.
She was born July 14, 1886, in Greene County, a daughter of George
W. and Tillie Huffman Courtwright.
Her husband, Albert Wesley Kerns, died in 1959.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Andrews, of Washington,
and Mrs. Wanda Jacobs of McMurray; one son, Walter H. Kerns, of Cameron; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel Courtwright, of Waynesburg, Lee Courtwright, of Cameron, RD, and Earl Courtwright, of Cameron, RD.; and six sisters, Mrs. Flo Marling, of Cameron; Mrs. Addie Hall, of Weston, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary Brown, of Martins Ferry, Ohio; Mrs. Maude Vares, of Steubenville, Ohio; Mrs. Jessie Ball, of Waynesburg, and Miss Blanche Courtwright, of Wind Ridge.
Funeral services were held Friday with burial in Cameron Cemetery.
