Virginia Beach - Anthony Vecchio Hicks, 29, passed away at his home in Virginia Beach, VA on April 17, 2015. Anthony was the son of Linda Spaziano Hicks and the late Stephen Foster Hicks.
Anthony was born in Providence, RI, but spent the majority of his life in Virginia Beach. He was a 2004 graduate of Kempsville High School. Anthony was an outstanding high school athlete with a passion for baseball, a love he shared with his father and brothers. Anthony was a loving, loyal and dedicated son, brother, husband and father. His family was always his priority and Anthony was happiest at home with his wife and son. The absence of his humor, charm and mischievous smile will forever leave a hole the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish Anthony's memory are his wife and best friend, Brittany Hicks; a son, Jaxson Vecchio Hicks; mother, Linda Spaziano Hicks; brothers, Raymond Vecchio Hicks, and Stephen "Hunter" Hicks; grandfather, Frank Spaziano; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 from 2 to 3 p.m. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.
