Michael “Mike” Arthur, 55, of Spencer, passed away at his residence, Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born in Bloomington on December 7, 1959 to Marvin and Elma (Graper) Arthur. Mike helped wash cars at Junior’s Garage and he enjoyed walking around town and visiting and joking with people.
He is survived by his siblings, David Arthur (Julie) of Lyons, Tom Arthur (Tina) of Spencer, Peggy Cooksey (Lloyd) of Spencer, Glenda Macer (Jack) of Martinsville, and Mark Arthur of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer. Pastor David Warren will officiate. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home.
