Crystal M. Stafford, (Col., United States Nurse Corps, Ret.), 66, passed away Friday, December 5, 1997 , in William Beaumont Medical Center, El Paso, Texas. She was born October 15, 1931 in Pulaski, the daughter of the late Roy E. Stafford and Sally Bryant Stafford. She was a retired Colonel, serving in the United States Nurse Corps. She was a long-time resident of El Paso. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ellen S. and Bill Shomaker, Pulaski; and brother, Charles D. Stafford, Pulaski; niece, Debbie Holston, Hickory, N.C.; nephews, Steven Stafford, Radford, David Stafford, France, Keith Stafford, South Carolina; also seven great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 20, at 12 noon at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, P.O. Box 9794, El Paso, Texas or to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home one hour before services.
