Daughter of Timothy J. and Katherine (Fitzpatrick) Buckley, who both came from Dublin, Ireland.

She moved to Corpus Christi in 1914 and was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hugh E. Lee of Fort Worth and Mrs. Frank C. Srsen of Tacoma, Wash.; and three sons, Frank W. Voeste, Jr., James B. Voeste, and Nealy Voeste (Cornelius), all of Corpus Christi. (Corpus Christi Times, Texas, September 15, 1969)

One of her sisters was Elizabeth Buckley of San Antonio.
