Nora I. Doland, age 74 of Elmira, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 1998 at the Elcor Health Services. Norma was born on Oct. 16, 1923 in Elmira to the late Samuel and Ava (Whitney) Niles. Survivors include her son, Samuel Doland of Elmira; grandchildren, Gerald and Sue Doland of Elmira, and Anne Marie and Patrick Young of NC; great grandson, Jason; also several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma was predeceased by her loving husband Floyd E. Doland in 1983, two brothers, Lester and Richard Niles and a sister Beatrice Niles.
Norma was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, she also worked and retired after several years from the YMCA. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elmira at the convenience of the family.
