Rodney K. Cross, 42, 2105 N. Valley Drive, died Tuesday in Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born in Anderson and came to this area as a child with his parents. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1965, attended Ball State University and spent most of his life in the Muncie area. Mr. Cross was an Army veteran.
He was executive vice president with Muncie Reclamation and Supply Co. before his illness and had been employed with the firm for more than 20 years. He was a member of Lindberg Road Church of Christ in Anderson.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Allison Cross; two sons, Chad and Todd; his mother, Ethyle Kabrich; his father, Preston K. Cross Sr.; two sisters, Kathy and Saundra; a brother, Preston, Jr.; a grandmother, Grace Willis; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling at the mortuary is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today or before services Friday.
