Daryle Keith Alsup, born to Eldridge “Shorty” Alsup and Ethel L. Javine Alsup July 27, 1936 in Barnsdall ,Oklahoma. He was married to Delores Arlene Charter Alsup on June 19, 1959 in Barnsdall. Daryle took the Lord’s hand and went home to be with him eternally on April 13, 2015. Daryle served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. He went to work for Blue Circle Cement in Tulsa as a lab technician in 1964 and retired in 1996.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one great grandchild, Chelsey.
He is survived by his wife, Delores of the home, 2 children, Ava and Mark Shelton of Skiatook, and Cleve and Evelyn Alsup of Skiatook, 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Stumpff Barnsdall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil Clements of Katy, Texas officiating. Interment will be in the Ethel Reece Cemetery at Barnsdall directed by the Stumpff Barnsdall Funeral Home.
A memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
