John E. Eyre. 87. of Chillicothe route I, died at 7:15 a. rn. today at his home. He was born August 8. 1863 in Wapello county, the son of John N. and Elizabeth Eyre, and had lived his entire life in this county. He was married March 23, 1899, to Elizabeth Wilkinson. He was a member of the Blakesburg Odd Fellows Lodge. He is survived by his wife, a son, Charles N. Byre of Edgemont, S. D.; two daughters. Mrs. Edna I Larson and Mrs. Alma Howell, both of Chillicothe route I. and by one granddaughter, Cathleen E. Eyre of Edgemont, S.D.
