Visitation for I. Velma Smith, 85, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service is set for 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, a 38-year Spokane resident, died Tuesday.

She was born in Calumet, Mont., and was an insurance rater.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Naomi Circle, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1474 Auxiliary and the Finlandia Foundation.

Her husband, Henry, died in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Henry Smith of Spokane; two daughters, Janice Daniels and Diane Thompson, both of Spokane; a brother, Onnie Juntilla of Osburn, Idaho; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
