Mildred Pearl Ballard-Lamon, 96, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on April 18, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Mrs. Ballard-Lamon was born on October 25, 1919 in Birmingham to Mr. & Mrs. William Henry Stagner.

Mrs. Ballard-Lamon was preceded in death by her first husband William Ballard, their only son, Billie Lloyd Ballard, her second husband, James T. Lamon, as well as her brother, Charles H. Stagner, all of Birmingham.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Ballard-Cheramie, of Hermitage, Tennessee, and Linda Lamon-Gooldrup (Michael), of Birmingham, Alabama.

Four Grandchildren,Cheryll D. Cheramie of Hermitage, TN, Lynn J. Cheramie, III (Fate) of Dahlonega, GA, Christopher M. Cheramie-Thompson (Rodney) of Shelbyville, TN, and Lisa Gooldrup-Costanzo (Matthew) of Mountain Brook, AL.

Six Great-Grandchildren, Lynn J Cheramie, IV (Chelsea) of Rocklin, CA, Holly A. Cheramie-Romero (Franklin) of Fort Collins, CO, Samuel Cheramie and Riley Cheramie both of Dahlonega, GA, Quinntin M. Cheramie of Hermitage, TN, and Julia Costanzo of Mountain Brook, AL.

Mrs. Lamon will be interred next to her late husband, Mr. James Lamon, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South, in Birmingham.
