MARIANNE PARKS, MD., 58, passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Marion, Ind., she worked as a Psychiatrist with Parent's Choice for 10 years. She graduated from Central Noble High School and earned her BS from Indiana Wesleyan and also attended IU School of Medicine and Medical College of Ohio. She was a member of Three Rivers Wesleyan Church and was a loving daughter and sister who cherished a special relationship with her nieces and nephews. She was a committed Christian Psychiatrist to children and young people in the Fort Wayne area. Surviving are her parents, Everett E. and Virgie P. Parks of Fort Wayne; brothers, Mike (Marla) Parks of Cloverdale, Ind. and Larry (Kathy) Parks of Albion, Ind.; sisters, Beverly Parks of Fort Wayne, Teresa (Rev. Eric) Ball of Yuba City, Calif. and Patti (Kevin) Templar of Spencerville, Ind.; and 12 very special nieces and nephews. Service is 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Three Rivers Wesleyan Church, 2825 Hillegas Road with calling one hour prior to service. Rev. Larry Maddox officiating, Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Ind. Memorials may be made to the Three Rivers Wesleyan Church.
