SAVANNAH - Sylvia Faye Allen, 78, of Savannah and widow of Samuel Dick A. Allen, died, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Hospice Savannah. She was born on October 5, 1936 in Statesboro, Georgia, a daughter of the late Wallis Daniel and Bythela Whitaker Jones. Sylvia is survived by her sons, Charles Allen and his wife, Chris, Richard Wayne Allen, Keith Allen and his wife Gwen and Robbie Allen; one sister, Sue Rivers; granddaughter, Kristin Graham and her husband Sloan; great-granddaughters, Maddie and Alyssa.
Visitation will be held from 5 till 7 o' clock, Sunday, at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah. A graveside service will be held at 2 o'clock Monday at Hillcrest Abbey - East officiated by the Reverend Douglas Cone. Remembrances: Hospice Savannah - 1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA, 31406.
