Richard Clyde Mantle passed away on April 12, 2015 in Peoria, Arizona.

He was born December 23, 1933 in Magna to Joseph Clyde and Leola Thorne Mantle.

Dick graduated from Cyprus High, served in the U.S. Navy, and then retired from Kennecott Copper in 1985.

He married Beth Marie Olsen on September 20, 1957, and they were blessed with four daughters; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Dick lived in Magna until 2010, when he and Beth moved to Sun City, Arizona.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, Susan (Kelly) Bertoch, Connie (Doug) Mecham, Vickie (Mike) Murdoch, and Julie (John) Gisch; nine grandkids, and twelve great-grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Eudora and Max Fullmer; and great-grandson, Joshua Bryant.

A special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Desert Haven Assisted Living in Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Magna Stake Center, 3084 South 8400 West. Visitations will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West Magna Main Street. (2700 South), and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
