Wilma Ruth Carr, 79, passed away at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska on February 4, 2012. A public visitation was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe, February 9, 2012. A service was held the following day; February 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe with a reception following. Pallbearers included Gregory Carr, Shawn Beck, Nathan Carr, Houston Carr, Collin Agni, Phillip Blanchett, Timothy Carr, George Piaskowski, Dennis Piaskowski, Thomas Piaskowski, and Lance Jones. Honorary Pallbearers included Barney Gottstein, William McHugh, John Schwamm, Paul Moseley, and Joe Rothstein.

Wilma was born in Oklahoma on August 13, 1932 to Homer and Ruth Moseley. Mrs. Carr is survived by: son Gregory Carr; daughter Jacqueline Carr; son-in-law Shawn Beck; brother Paul Moseley with his wife Sharon; sisters in-law Mary Piaskowski of Anchorage and LaMoine Oppelt of Apopka, Florida; ; grandchildren Melanie Carr Jones, Lance Jones, Kate Carr, Jenny George, Nathan and Jessica Carr, Nicole Carr, Todd Lowry, Lauren Blanchett, Phillip Blanchett, Houston Carr, Collin Agni, Stephanie DeLaRosa, Claire Agni, Genevieve Beck, and Jonathan Beck; great-grandchildren Jack, Henry and Jane Carr, Tun'aqi and Ivalu Blanchett, and Caine and Brice Jones; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the invaluable assistance of long-time personal assistant, Leslie Wiley, and to thank the many physicians and personal assistants who cared for her during her last years.
