Supreme Court of NY 1828 Stanley v. Chappel regards "Elijah Stanley as guardian and demurrer for Amanda Stanley and her children as heirs of Dyer Stanley, deceased .... "

Guardianship Book page 14 at Surrogate's Office in Cooperstown, NY Amy chose William Hudson of Cherry Valley as guardian in 1815 later she chose Elijah Stanley. On this record she is listed as Amy Chappel.
