Karen Britt Warren

Chesapeake - Karen Britt Warren, 52, of Chesapeake, is celebrating eternity in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, November 13, 2013.

Born in Michigan, she was the daughter of Thomas and Maxie Britt. Karen was the bookkeeper for G.H. Robertson Construction Co., Chesapeake. She was a long-time member of Great Bridge Baptist Church where she invested herself in the lives of ladies through the women's ministry. She was an active volunteer in her children's schools, serving on the PTA, where she held many positions. Karen will be remembered for her selfless nature and acts of service towards others.

Including her parents, Karen is survived by her husband of 32 years, 2 children,1brother, 2 nieces, her mother-in-law, as well as many close friends whom she cared for deeply.

Karen's life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Great Bridge Baptist Church, 640 S. Battlefield, Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. Dr. Will Langford will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at Great Bridge Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Great Bridge Baptist Church.

The family would like to offer sincere gratitude to Dr. Thomas Alberico and Debbie Simmons for their endless care and compassion.
