Shorty was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Roberts and Ada (Asher) Roberts and son, Lewis Marion Roberts, Jr., brothers, Richard Roberts and Vernon Roberts.
Shorty is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lottie Marie Roberts, sisters, Jewel Irene Young of Santa Fe, Texas, Martha Sartain, Nancy Kathryn Harper and husband, Wyndell of Sugarland, Texas, Gloria Jean Moffett of League City, Texas, brothers, Elbert Roberts and wife, Lessie of Livingston, Texas, Clifford Roberts of Georgetown, Texas, sisters-n-law, Marjorie Williams and Edna Easton, numerous other relatives and friends.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial be made to: Bald Prairie Community Cemetery, C/O Delton Weir, 9769 FM 2096, Franklin, Texas 77856
