KELLEY, Megan Rose

Megan Rose Kelley, 22, of Appleton passed away unexpectedly after struggling with addiction. She lost her battle on April 14, 2015. We believed she would be successful this time, but opiates are a powerful drug taking many lives including her boyfriend, who lost his own battle with addiction. Megan was born on January 9, 1993 in Neenah.

Megan was greatly loved by all of her family and friends. She was a free-spirit, fiercely independent and loved to be with her friends whenever she could. Her family meant a great deal to her and she was truly looking forward to welcoming her twin nephews. She was a great daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend who was always cheerful and helpful.

She had many plans to better her life and wanted to return to school. She was very proud to graduate with her classmates from Appleton East in 2011. She was currently waitressing at Applebees.

She will be forever missed by her mother: Bev Kelley-Miller (Jim Miller), father: Dennis Kelley, brothers: Simon (Andy and Namhee) Albright, Adam Combs, and sister: Michele Kelley (Travis Treadwell), stepsisters: Cassandra Miller (Vishal Rao), Jessica (Mike) Brittnacher, and stepbrother: Jacob Miller, nieces: Maya, Chezney, and Vayda Brittnacher, Heather Albright, Sitara Rao and nephews: Colton and Mason Treadwell, grandmothers: Marion Ploederl and Joyce Kelley, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: Harry Ploederl and Fred Kelley.

A celebration of Megan's life will be held on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 PM at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME.

Megan, we will greatly miss you! Love you always, till we meet again.
