Funeral services for Lena Irene (Auld) Ray-Cox will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holiness Assembly of God, Idabel. The Rev. Philip Snow will officiate, and burial will follow in Pollard Cemetery.

The Cox family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Norwood, Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home, Idabel.

Mrs. Cox died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Paris, Texas. She was born April 9, 1916, at Haworth and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

A homemaker, she was affiliated with the Assemblies of God and enjoyed talking on the phone with old friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sarah Ethel Reed Auld; her husband, Loyd Cox; her first husband, George Brooks Ray; a son, Charles Henry Ray; and two sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include a son, Harold Brooks Ray, Ladson, S.C.; two daughters, Shirley White, Millerton; and Wanda Williams, Haworth; two brothers, Roy H. Ray, Greensboro, N.C. and Curtis "Blue" Ray, Idabel; special grandchildren, Bobby and Brenda Robinson, of Idabel; and 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
