WILLIAMSPORT - Mae Virginia Mills, 78, of Williamsport Nursing Home and formerly of Goldizen Lane, Clear Spring, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at the home.
Born March 30, 1927, in Pigskin Ridge, Md., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lewis Weller and Sarah Elizabeth Gladhill Weller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce James Mills, in 1980.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her stepmother, Francis Funk of Hancock; three daughters, Barbara A. Bowers of Hancock, and Deborah S. Mills and Kay V. Bell, both of Hagerstown; two sons, Bruce S. Mills of Clear Spring and David W. Mills of Cumberland, Md.; three sisters, Dolly McCarty of Hagerstown, Betty Shipley of Clear Spring and Lillian Younker of Cearfoss; one brother, John Weller of Hagerstown; 15 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James A. Mills and Gary L. Mills; two sisters, Dorothy Weller and Mary Weller; and one brother, Frank Weller.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Donald E. Thompson Funeral Home in Clear Spring. Chaplin Josephine Benton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
