Dale left school at an early age to work on the farm and help support his family.
He was called to serve his country and is a World War II veteran.
Dale married Ailene Rae Cox of Carrollton on June 2, 1955.
He was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life.
He is survived by two children and their spouses, Dale Ray and Connie Stark of Lawson, MO; and Marla Darlene and Eugene Vanderford of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Wilta Snodgrass of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Stark, and one sister, Beulah Hudson.
Funeral services were May 27, at the Polley Funeral Home in Lawson with burial in the Old Union Cemetery.
