He was born January 7, 1955 in Topeka the son of Morris and Neva (Seastrom) Douglas. He graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1973 and had worked at Goodyear until his retirement in 2010. Dennis enjoyed traveling, reading, ancestry and music. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Local #307.
Dennis is survived by his mother, his sister, three brothers, six nieces, four nephews and eight great-nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Douglas in 2011 and his brother Rick Douglas in 2000.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Netawaka Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton 66436.
