RANDOLPH ANTILL - CAMERON MORTICIAN DIED SUDDENLY SUNDAY
Randolph B. Antill, prominent mortician of Cameron, W. Va. since 1915, died suddenly at 7:30 Sunday morning of a heart attack. He was born in Marshall county February 9, 1894, the son of William and Elizabeth Burge Antill. He graduated from Eckols school of mortuary Science in Philadelphia in 1915. He was a member of the First Christian church at Cameron, where he served as church treasurer he was a member of the Cameron Lodge Number 17 AF & AM, Cameron Lodge Number 86 IOOF, Sunbeam Rebecca Lodge Number 157; and he was a member of the Cameron Volunteer fire department for forty years. He was a member of the National Funeral Directors association, W. Va. Funeral Directors association and the Northern Panhandle Funeral Directors association. He was very active in all community affairs.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Wood Antill; one son, Willis C. Antill, partner in the Antill Funeral home; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Joselyn; and four granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at the Antill Funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. C. Edward Willis officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home at any time.
IOOF Memorial services will be held Monday at 8 p.m., Volunteer Firemen services will be held Monday at 8:30 p.m., Sunbeam Rebecca Memorial services will be held Monday at 8:45 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge.
