ONTARIO - Morah Blanche Burner, age 95, of Ontario, passed away September 22, 2004 in Pomona, California. Born on June 2, 1909 in North Clymer, New York, she grew up in Spartansburg, Pennsylvania, until moving west to California in 1933. Being a devout Christian, she became a missionary to the Hopi Indians in Keams Canyon, Arizona in 1935. Marrying Roly Burner during World War II, she became a member of the United Brethren C hurch of Glendora where she was an organist. As a Stanley Home Products dealer, she traveled all around the Inland Empire for more than 20 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Betty Drought and nephew Terry Drought of Montana, and nieces Rozanne Summers, Marilyn Hisington, and Gail Illingworth of California. A graveside service will be held at Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora, on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 1 p.m.. Oakdale Memorial Park is handling arrangements.
