Mother was the 3rd born, of 9 children, to Charles and Frances Burlingame. She was raised in a loving family. She said her parents were both happy people and had a wonderful long marriage. Our mother 's life was filled with laughter and extreme curiosity. At the age of 12, her parents nicknamed her "The Daily News", as, she had the scoop on everybody and everything. She carried that extreme curiosity and love of life and people until she took her last breath at the age of 99.
