Anna C. (Hessenthaler) Edelman of Ardsley died Saturday, January 30, 1999 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 86.
She was the wife of the late Forest Edelman Jr.
Born August 18, 1912 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Christine (Young) Hessenthaler.
Mrs. Edelman was a housewife. She loved the beach and anything to do with the ocean. She was an avid Bingo player and an excellent cook.
Mrs. Edelman was a four resident of Glenside and a 29 year resident of Daytona Beach, Fla.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Houck of Daytona beach, Fla, a stepdaughter, Joyce Snyder of Ardsley; a stepson, Forest Edelman III of Palm, Pa; three step grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Caroline Johnson of Willow Grove, Marie DeLoach of Greenlane, Pa. and Marion Cahill of Rockledge, Pa.; two brothers, Joseph Hessenthaler of Ardsley and James Hessenthaler of Willow Grove; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 26, 1999 in the chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Limekiln Pike, Prospectville. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
