Ronald Dwight Lane Jr., 44, died Monday in Goldsboro. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Ronald D. Lane Sr. and Joyceann S. Lane. He was also preceded in death by his partner, Charles William Tobin. He was employed as a print shop supervisor with Wayne Community College.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the family visiting friends immediately after the service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

Ronald is survived by a brother, Andy Lane of Seven Springs; a sister and brother-in-law, Kristie L. and Felipe Cisneros of Seven Springs; and nieces and nephews, Sherinda Lee, Olivia Martinez, Ronnie Martinez and Clayton Lee.
Special to him also were his adopted niece and nephew, Steven Crews and Candis Lane.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be directed to Wayne Community College Foundation in memory of Ronald Lane, 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
