Mary Eva Johnson Delp, age 83, of Bristol, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1931 in Elizabethton, Tenn., daughter of the late Conley and Eleanor Triplett Johnson. Mary was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area. She was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Delp; and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Karon Ann Casteel and husband Fred, Manuel Wade Delp and wife Amy, and Hasque Aaron Delp; grandchildren, Greg Casteel, Geoff Casteel, Wendy Stueck, Misty Markel, Travis Delp, Logan Delp and Zachary Delp; 12 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister, Mickey Nottingham; and brother, Noah Johnson. The funeral service for Mrs. Delp will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Mullinax officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zachary Delp, Logan Delp, Geoff Casteel, Greg Casteel, Matt Stueck and Jeff Markel. Honorary pallbearers are Fred Casteel and Wesley Markel. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the funeral home.
