David E. Burton
David E. Burton of Pine Street, Manitou Beach, died at 8pm Tuesday in the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Paul Borton of 2073 Adams Street, Home Acres, where he had been visiting the last few days. He had been in ill health the last year.
Mr. Burton was born March 15, 1893, in Nashville, Ill. He had lived at Manitou Beach the last 15 years, coming from South Bend, where he had been a resident 27 years. He was a carpenter.
He married Mrs. Nellie Raymond of Manitou Beach in 1945, who survives.
Mr. Burton was a member of the Masonic Lodge in South Bend.
The funeral will be Friday at 2pm in Everiss Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park.
