Mr. Burroughs was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife: Verlie Maxine (Holland) Burroughs.
He is survived by his 3 sons: Donnie Burroughs of Center Ridge, Arkansas; Johnny Burroughs of Damascus, Arkansas; and Leon Burroughs of Damascus, Arkansas; 5 daughters: Glenda Burroughs McGinty of Damascus, Arkansas; Kathy Gronke of Greenbrier, Arkansas; Debra Williams of Quitman, Arkansas; Peggy Johnson of Enola, Arkansas; and Judy Forsberg of Damascus, Arkansas; 27 wonderful grandchildren; 58 precious great-grandchildren; 3 very special great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends.
Funeral Service for Mr. Burroughs was held on Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2015, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas.
Brothers Jackie Taylor and Jim Atkinson officiated the services.
He was laid to rest at Sand Springs Cemetery Quitman, Arkansas with U.S. Army Military Honors.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
