CHELMSFORD – Theresa M. (Gelineau) Reid, 86, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of Frederick H. Reid, former Chief of the Chelmsford Fire Department.
She was born May 7, 1928 and raised in Lowell, MA and was a daughter of the late Romeo and Irene M. (Gendreau) Gelineau.
Theresa was an avid and talented bowler and she enjoyed sewing. Theresa’s greatest joy was spending time with and taking care of her family.
In addition to her loving husband, Theresa is survived by her children; Daniel Reid, James Reid, John Reid and his wife Valerie, and Terry (Reid) Kehoe and her husband Michael, all of Chelmsford; eight grandchildren; Daniel Reid and his wife Kimberly, Robert Reid and his wife Evonne, Jennifer Reid, Lauren Reid, Matthew Reid and his wife Rebecca, Ashley Reid, Tre Kehoe, and Kendra Kehoe; three great-grandchildren; Ryan Reid, Trevor Reid, and Jack Reid, and a sister Eileen Parent of FL.
