Clarence H. Schnell, 87, a resident of Pine Haven Christian Home and formerly of Howards Grove, died Tuesday morning April 14, 2015 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born on March 28, 1928 in the Town of Eaton, son of the late Frank & Theresa (Holzer) Schnell. Clarence attended Hillside Grove School. On May 17, 1952 he was united in marriage to Germaine T. Felten at Holy Name Catholic Church, Sheboygan. Clarence and Germaine spent 61 years together before she preceded him in death on May 27, 2013. He was employed at Polarware Co., Sheboygan for 41½ years until his retirement. Clarence was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill and the Catholic Knights. He also was a member of the UAW at Polarware. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, gardening and playing cards. Survivors include two children; Michael (Debbie) Schnell, Appleton, Karen (William) Kraemer, Elkhart Lake, five grandchildren; Becky Schnell, Appleton, Dan Schnell, Peoria, IL, Melissa (Tim) Badtke, Appleton, Stacy Kraemer, Combined Locks and Angela (Jon) Fenrick, Verona. He is further survived by four great grandchildren, Bryan & Aaron Badtke, Tucker & Sydney Fenrick, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Joan (Josef) Mayer, Sheboygan, Edward (Cathy) Felten, Middleton, Carol (Russ) Kuck, Ft. Collins, CO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George (Phyllis) Schnell, Florentine Schnell, one sister, Helen (Kenneth) Reinemann and one brother-in-law, Francis Felten. The funeral Mass for Clarence will be celebrated at 12:30pm on Saturday April 18, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill with Fr. Daniel Lasecki officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:00am until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
