Glenda Lou Nell Willis, age 76, of Jefferson City, Missouri, formally of Paragould, Arkansas, began her journey into eternity with our Lord on April 13, 2015, in Jefferson City, Missouri.

She was born September 1, 1938, in Paragould, Arkansas, to Carl T. and Viva (Boyd) Willis.

A 1956 graduate of Greene County Tech, Mrs. Willis also graduated from Quachita Baptist College in 1960 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education. She did her practice teaching in the Bauxite School District. Her teaching career began at Clover Bend, Arkansas and later moved on to the Thayer School District in Thayer, Missouri. Mrs. Willis also had a long career with the Missouri Baptist Foundation and then Von Haufmann Press in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was also a long time member of First Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Preceding her in death were her parents; maternal grandparents, Charles Winfield and Nellie (Owen) Boyd; paternal grandparents, Jefferson Davis and Florence (Norton) Willis.

Survivors include her brothers and sisters in law, Carl L. and Charla Willis of Austin, Texas, Charles and Barbara Willis, of Paragould, Arkansas; sister and brother in law, Ann and Lon Bugg; five nephews, Greg and Tim Willis and Lon, Brian, and Keith Bugg; three great nephews, Justin Hollis, Conner Willis and Brooks Jones; five great nieces, Carleigh Hollis and Alicia, Sara, Elizabeth, and Kristin Bugg.

Funeral services were in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with burial in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
