Monroe Jackson Perry, 81 years old, died at his home south of Windom at 4 a.m. Thursday.
He had been in ill health for some time.
He was a native of Missouri, where he was born December 21, 1856.
He came to Fannin county in 1887, and had made this state his home ever since.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Perry, two sons, H. E. and Newman Perry, and one daughter, Mrs. Walter Bell.
The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at the Christian church in Windom, the Rev. F. M. Jensen and the Rev. Raymond Smoot, the latter of Paris, in charge. Burial will be in Windom cemetery.
