James E. (Jimmy) Orr of 20588 Front St., Monte Rio, California, died at 1:29 a.m. Monday, March 22, 1982, at Fannin County Hospital in Bonham, following an extended illness due to cancer.

Funeral services were scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 24th, at the Windom Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rodney Stanford officiating. Burial was to follow at the Windom Cemetery, under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home of Honey Grove.

Pallbearers were Nicky Nichols, Jimmy Martin, David Orr, Mike Orr, Harry Elk and Carthel Hewitt.

Mr. Orr was born at Nashville, Arkansas, May 24, 1930, the son of William David and Sallie Delaney Orr.

He was married at Reno, Nevada May 21, 1977, to Angela Inferrera.

He was a member of the Baptist Church at Windom, a veteran having served in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army as a Sgt., a past president of International Union of Guards and Watchman in San Francisco and a member for twenty years. He was also a president of Aachen Corp. in California.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Angela Orr, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Orr of Windom; four sisters, Mrs. John D. (Jean) Nichols of Windom; Mrs. Leroy (Fleta) Martin of Ector, Mrs. Bill (Linda) Wilson of Bonham and Mrs. Jim (Shirley) Bingham of Grapevine; three brothers, Dee Orr of Dallas, Robert Lee Orr of Garland and Billy Ray Orr of Grapevine; several nieces and nephews.

His father, William D. Orr, preceded Jimmy in death September 25, 1951.
