Jackie Wiggins Rankin was born February 23, 1929 in Jourdanton, Texas. She passed away at the age of 87 after a long battle with myelo-fibrosis, a blood cancer.
Jackie was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and very active for many years in the church sewing group. She also loved to knit prayer shawls for the church. Jackie retired from the Spring Branch Independent School District where she was a counselor's aide at Spring Oaks Middle School.
Jackie is survived by her four children and their spouses, Jimmie and Joe Creswell, Peggy Jetton Raab and Mike Raab, Roberta and Charlie Bondurant, and David and Julie Rankin. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Rankin, her parents, Sam and Jewell Wiggins, a sister, two brothers, and son in law Bobby Ray Jetton.
Following a private family service, Jackie was laid to rest beside her beloved husband Bob, on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery in Tyler, Texas.
