Billy C. Blankenship, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015. He was born in Collinsville, IL on August 10, 1934 to the late William and Elsie (Crafton) Blankenship. Billy worked as a Quality Controller for Allison Township for 43 years, retiring in 1984.

Billy is survived by sister, Norma DeVore; niece, Judy (Jack) Rossman; nephew, Art Blankenship; close friends, Rhett Haynes and Mary Edwards; and several other nieces and nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pauline Thompson, Jeannene Seybold, and Joyce Wirey and brothers, Robert, Norman, and John Blankenship.

The family would like to thank Franciscan St. Francis Health Indianapolis and the Order of Franciscan Nuns for their compassionate care of Billy.

Visitation for Billy will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
