A native of Maryville, Tenn., Mr. Sexton lived in Fabius 45 years. He retired after 35 years as a tool and die maker with General Electric Co.
Mr. Sexton was a member of the 25-Year Club of GE, the Woodfield Sportsmen's Club and the Fabius Volunteer Fire Department. He was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, the former Amelia Graham; three daughters, Katherine Wyman of New Woodstock, Lucille Toscano of Victor and Rosemary Painter of Manlius; two sons, Benjamin G. of Syracuse and George M. of LaFayette; a sister, Eula Ramsey of Newport, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hartwell Funeral Home, Tully. Burial arrangements are incomplete.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 11 Clinton St.
Contributions may be made to the Fabius Volunteer Fire Department.
