Arthur C "Jim" Harris, 75, of 120 Margaret Ave. died at 7:10 am Tuesday in Regional Hospital. He was a retired maintenance worker for Pennsylvania Railroad. He was born Feb. 3, 1911, in Terre Haute to William Harris and Delia Vance Harris. His wife Effie Harris diedin 1983. Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Scott of Los Angles; two stepdaughters, Alma Adkins of Terre Haute and Barbara Stanton of California; two stepsons, Tom Brosman of Terre Haute and Jimmy Brosman of California; two brothers, William Harris of Lapel and Fred Harris of Terre Haute;two sisters, Mary Barnes and Rosella Sheese of Terre Haute; two grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 1 pm Friday in Debaun Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Pangburn officiating. Burial is in Burnett Cemetery. Visitation is 10 am to time of services.
