OBITUARY :
JOHN N. TEETER, a patriarch of South Woodbury township, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Kochenderfer, New Enterprise, on Saturday, in his 90th year.

His wife died six years ago.

He is survived by the following children: Joseph, Andrew and Daniel Teeter, Mrs. Susan Snowberger, Mrs. Jacob Snyder, Mrs. Joseph Guyer, Mrs. Herman Guyer, Mrs. John Koehenderfer, Mrs. David Snyder, of Morrison's Cove.

He was a faithful member of the German Baptist church for many years.

The funeral services were held on Monday. Interment was made in the Koontz cemetery.

Mr. Teeter was a descendant of one of the first settlers of the Cove, his grandparents being the principals in the Indian tragedy at the present site of Roaring Spring.

He was a farmer of no mean attainments and at odd times was employed in making farming implements for his neighbors He was in his day one of the strongest men of the community and always worked hard. A good man has gone to his reward.
