Loretta M. Fetzer, of Souderton, formerly of Penndel, went Home to be with the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. She was 78.

She was born in Philadelphia on May 6, 1936 and raised on a farm in Newtown.

Loretta had been employed as a custodian at Bucks County Community College, Newtown and as a kitchen manager at the Bucks County Courier Times, Levittown, working 16 hours a day while raising two children. She retired in her late sixties.

She had served as a committeewoman for Penndel.

Loretta enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and word searches. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She was blessed to have had several long-time friends.

Loretta is survived by her son, Lance Fetzer, and his wife, Suzanne; her daughter, Lorraine Steinman, and her husband, Joel; and three grandchildren: Katelyn and Lauren Fetzer; and Benjamin Steinman.

A visitation will be held from 2-2:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, in the Betty Meier Steeley Funeral Home, 87 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960.

Graveside services will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
