Royce L. Rogers, 83, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014.
Royce was born on April 13, 1930 to Howard and Betty (Faust) Rogers in Elkhart. He married Phyllis Casater in 1948. She preceded him in death in 2005.
He is survived by daughters, Linda Myers (Larry), Elkhart and Vicky Shaw (Earl), Elkhart; sons, Denny Rogers (Eve), Osceola and Doug Rogers, Elkhart, a brother, Lanny Rogers (Carolyn) Elkhart; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Royce was preceded in death by his grandchildren: Patty, Steven & Dave Myers, and brothers: James and Ronnie Rogers.
Royce was a Cabinet Maker in the mobile home industry. He loved to fish and spend time at his lake home. He was avid NASCAR fan.
Burial will be held at a later date.
