Mr. Otis O'Neal Horsley, Jr., age 70, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, April 13, 2015.
Mr. Horsley was born in Bremen, Georgia on April 15, 1944, the son of the late Otis O'Neal Horsley, Sr. and Miriam Adamson Horsley. He was a journalist in the Carrollton area and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Air Force and attended the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelors Degree in Journalism and then went on to Westminster Presbyterian Seminary in Philadelphia where he received his Masters Degree in Theology.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Carol Fair; sons, Christian O'Neal Horsley of Phenix City, AL, Nathanael Adamson Horsley of Alpharetta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Jarrod Wiegman of Rome, GA; granddaughter, Lydia Wiegman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Kitty Fair and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating.
