W. Kay Bohl, 79, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland.
Kay was born March 1, 1936 in Wheatland the daughter of Russell J. and Wilma K. (Kuehner) Davis.
She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1955, then attended Lawrence Beauty School and graduated in 1957. She was the proud owner of Kay’s Beauty Salon in Wheatland for 56 years. She enjoyed playing pinochle with several different card groups through the years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the ladies guild. On February 14, 1965 Kay married James A. Bohl of Wheatland and they recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. To this union a son, Kendall A. Bohl in 1969.
Kay is survived by her husband, Jim Bohl of Wheatland; son, Kendall Bohl of Wheatland; brother, Ronald (Jerra) Davis of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
