HOLLAND, JANET A., 79, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lelah Hopewell; and brother, Arthur Hopewell, Jr.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Martin Holland; daughters, Lynn Russell (Craig) and Delores Riedling (Craig); son, Steven Holland (Karen); eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, June Merrifield (George); and CoCo the cat.
Janet was a 1953 graduate of Presentation Academy. She loved life and family; she was a very giving, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was active as Committee Chairperson of the St. Pius X Resurrection Choir.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3521 Goldsmith Ln. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
