Scarborough-Matthew J. Brady, 32, of Crossing Drive, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at his residence.

He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on June 7, 1982, the son of Richard L. Jr., and Carrie E. (Burdwood) Brady. He attended Scarborough schools and graduated from Scarborough High School, class of 2000. He worked as a mason tender at construction sites throughout the area.

Matthew was a kind-hearted and compassionate man. Above all else he was a loving, devoted father to his precious daughter, Olivia. They loved to go swimming and skateboarding together and especially enjoyed “Daddy Time’’, cuddling on the couch. He also shared an exceptional love and close relationship with his best friend and sister, Kristen. He maintained a caring relationship with his former wife, Courtney.

He had a passion for motorcycles and was particularly fond of riding his father’s 1957 panhead, Harley Davidson, which he really considered to be his own.

He is survived by his daughter Olivia R. Brady of Lebanon; parents, Richard and Carrie Brady of Scarborough, a sister, Kristen L. Brady and her partner Michael Himes of Biddeford; former wife, Courtney Smith of Lebanon; and special, newborn nephew, Brady Himes of Biddeford.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A reception with food and beverage will take place at the Chapel following the service. Burial will take place at Scarborough Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
