Funeral services for Pauline W DeLair, age 82, of Heuvelton will be held at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. DeLair passed away at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center on April 11, 2015.
Surviving are two sons, Robert DeLair of Massena and Duane(Jan) Delair of Arkansas; a daughter Diane (Stuart) Edwards of Caledonia; two brothers, Dale (Phyllis)Wood of Littlestown, Pa and Bruce(Phyllis)Wood of Liston; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Her husband J. Albert DeLair; and a grandson, Dana DeLair predeceased her.
Pauline was born on August 12, 1932 in Lisbon, a daughter of the late Clifford & Beulah LaLone Wood. She graduated from Lisbon Central School and continued her education at the Ogdensburg Business School. She later married J. Albert DeLair on July 3, 1959 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lisbon.
She worked as an administrative assistant for SLC Emergency Services for 25 years and retired in 1975. Pauline was a past member of the Heuvelton Fire Department Auxilliary and the Florence B Beatty Chapter Chapter of OES.
