Wilbur R. Beach
INDIANAPOLIS — Wilbur R. Beach, 82, of Indianapolis, formerly of Nashville, died Thursday at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
Born March 6, 1917, in Nashville, he was the son of Jacob and Belvia (Reed) Beach.
He was president of W.R. Beach Inc. and a member of Capital City Baptist Church, both in Indianapolis.
Survivors include one son, Paul Beach of Indianapolis; three daughters, Lorene Logsdon of Bloomington, and Donna Taylor and Phyllis McKnight, both of Indianapolis; two sisters, Ruth Clark and Nellie "Midge" Stevens, both of Bloomington; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy (Petro) Beach, in 1984, and one daughter, Corena Massingale, in 1985.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Capital City Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at Singleton & Herr Mortuary in Indianapolis.
